The Stiletto TB3MR is a Milled Steel Replacement Face for the Stiletto 15 oz TI-BONE III Hammer, compatible with the TB3MC and TB3SC models. The TI-BONE III's interchangeable face system allows the steel striking face to be replaced when worn or when switching between face types for different applications — without replacing the entire titanium hammer head. The TB3MR milled steel face is the choice for framing and rough carpentry work where maximum nail-driving grip is required. The milled face pattern bites into the nail head on contact, reducing the glancing blows and nail deflection that a smooth face is more susceptible to during high-speed framing nailing, helping drive nails straighter and more efficiently in production framing conditions.
The TB3MR features an anti-rotational design that positively locks the face to the titanium head and prevents it from spinning or shifting during high-impact driving — maintaining consistent face alignment throughout the face's service life. A black alloy 3/8 in.-24 hardened bolt is included to secure the replacement face to the TI-BONE III head. Steel replacement faces are consumable wear items — the milled pattern will eventually wear smooth with extended use and require replacement to maintain full nail-gripping performance.
