This is the largest angle-grinder cut-off wheel in Milwaukee's thin-wheel range, sized for 7 in. angle grinders running a 7/8 in. arbor, and its 7 in. diameter gives the deepest cut of any wheel that mounts on a hand-held grinder. At 1/16 in. thick, this wheel is a step heavier than the .045 in. wheels, a thickness matched to the larger diameter that adds stability and durability for the heavier cutting a 7 in. grinder takes on, while still cutting like a dedicated cut-off wheel rather than a grinding wheel.
