Carbide Grit Hole Saw with an included Carbide Pilot Bit — an abrasive grit hole saw for cutting accurate holes through ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural stone, and fiberglass where the 1 in. bore is specified for the plumbing fitting, conduit penetration, or hardware being installed through a hard tiled surface. The carbide grit rim grinds through hard, brittle tile and stone by abrasive action — preventing the chipping, cracking, and perimeter fracture that conventional toothed hole saws cause in glazed ceramic and porcelain tile. The 1 in. diameter serves standard small plumbing stub-out holes through tiled walls, specific conduit penetrations through tile surfaces, and small hardware mounting holes where this bore is specified for the pipe or fitting being installed through the finished tile.
