The Milwaukee 49-54-1027 is a genuine OEM 6 in. Router Sub-Base Template, the clear base plate that mounts to the bottom of the router and rides flat on the workpiece to guide the cut. It is molded from clear high-strength polycarbonate, which gives you greater visibility of the bit and the layout lines for fine, accurate work, and its 6 in. outside diameter provides a stable, broad bearing surface for control. The center of the sub-base has an industry-standard 1-3/16 in. center hole that accepts Milwaukee template guides and other popular template guides, so with a guide installed the router follows a template or pattern for repeatable, pattern-routed cuts.
This sub-base template is designed for Milwaukee routers, fitting the 5615, 5616, and 5619 models, including the 5616-20 and 5616-29 2-1/4 hp Body Grip Router with Electronics and the related 5615 and 5619 routers. It installs in place of, or as a replacement for, the router's sub-base, mounting to the router base with the router's existing hardware.
