The Milwaukee 49-00-5456 is a single 3 in. Scraper Blade for the Milwaukee M12 HACKZALL compact reciprocating saw — the wider scraper blade format that converts the Milwaukee M12 HACKZALL into a powered floor scraper for removing flooring adhesive, vinyl tile, carpet adhesive, mastic, and sheet flooring from concrete slabs and wood subfloors. The 3 in. blade width covers more floor area per reciprocating stroke than the standard 1-1/2 in. scraper blade, reducing the number of passes required to clear a given floor area and increasing overall scraping productivity on large renovation floor removal projects. The M12 HACKZALL's one-handed compact design is particularly suited to floor scraping work where the operator must often support and guide the scraper blade with the second hand while driving the tool with the primary grip.
The single blade format is appropriate for occasional floor scraping use, small-area removal projects, and emergency field replacement when the working blade dulls through heavy adhesive deposits mid-project.
