The Milwaukee 48-28-4011 is an 18 in. Selfeed Bit Extension — the longest standard extension in Milwaukee's bit extension lineup, providing 18 in. of additional drilling reach when added to Milwaukee Selfeed bits, Ship Auger bits, Flat Boring bits, and other boring bits that accept the standard hex drive extension interface. The 18 in. extension enables total drilling reach of approximately 24 in. when combined with a standard 6 in. bit, providing access to the deepest wood framing assemblies encountered in residential and commercial wood-frame construction — including triple member assemblies, built-up beams, deep floor systems with multiple layers of structural components, and heavy timber construction where the structural assembly thickness far exceeds what any standard bit length can drill through from a single side without repositioning. For electricians, plumbers, and HVAC installers working through deep structural assemblies, the 18 in. extension is the essential tool that enables completing a full-depth hole without the repositioning, re-alignment, and additional bit changes that would otherwise be required.
