The Milwaukee 48-28-1060 is a 24 in. x 7/16 in. Universal QUIK-LOK Bit Extension — the longest standard extension in the Milwaukee 7/16 in. hex shank format, providing two full feet of additional working reach for heavy-duty driver applications where fasteners or drilling locations are far beyond the driver chuck's natural working distance. The 7/16 in. hex shank format is used with heavy-duty impact drivers and drills equipped with the larger 7/16 in. hex collet chuck rather than the standard 1/4 in. hex, providing the higher torque transmission capacity needed for large-format fasteners, heavy-duty drilling, and the high-force driving applications where the smaller 1/4 in. hex format would slip under load. The QUIK-LOK interface accepts 7/16 in. hex shank bits with a tool-free push-in engagement and collar-pull release for fast bit changes at the extended reach position during work.
