Universal QUIK-LOK Bit Extension — an 18 in. length in the 7/16 in. hex shank format for extending the reach of heavy-duty impact drivers and drills to fasteners and drilling locations at substantial distances beyond the driver's natural working position. The 7/16 in. hex shank provides higher torque transmission capacity than the standard 1/4 in. hex for applications where driving forces would exceed the 1/4 in. format's capacity — making the 7/16 in. appropriate for large-format fasteners, heavy-duty drilling, and high-force driving where the 1/4 in. hex would slip under peak driving loads. The QUIK-LOK interface accepts 7/16 in. hex shank bits with a tool-free push-in engagement and collar-pull release for fast bit changes at the extended position during work, and the 18 in. length provides substantial reach for deep cavity fasteners, multi-layer structural access, and positions where the driver must be placed well back from the work surface.
