The Milwaukee 48-25-5225 is a 1-1/2 in. Switchblade 3-Blade Replacement Kit — providing three replacement cutting blades for the Milwaukee 1-1/2 in. Switchblade Self-Feed Wood Boring Bit in a self-contained storage case with all tools needed for field blade changes. The Switchblade bit system's tool-free push-button blade replacement mechanism enables a fresh blade to be installed in approximately 10 seconds at the work location — when the 1-1/2 in. cutting blade dulls during drilling, the worn blade is ejected and a replacement from this kit is snapped into the bit body, restoring full sharpness and drilling performance immediately without returning to the service vehicle or purchasing an entirely new bit at the full bit body cost. The 1-1/2 in. diameter is a heavily used rough-in size covering larger NM cable bundles, 1 in. flexible conduit, medium-diameter plumbing rough-in penetrations, and firestop grommet installations for 1 in. conduit and large wire bundle penetrations through fire-rated assemblies in wood-frame construction.
