Product Description
Milwaukee PACKOUT Wire Pulling XL Crate
Model Number: 48-22-8043
The Milwaukee 48-22-8043 is a PACKOUT Wire Pulling XL Crate, a complete, ready-to-use wire payout station that combines the PACKOUT XL Crate with the wire pulling insert already installed. It allows you to pull and store up to six spools of 500 ft 12-gauge THHN wire, holding the spools on internal supports inside the crate so the wire feeds out smoothly and tangle-free as it is pulled. Rather than wrestling loose spools on the floor or dragging a separate wire tree, an electrician loads the spools into this one crate and dispenses from all of them at once, cleanly and organized. Because the crate is part of the PACKOUT system, the wide front opening gives quick access to pull wire even while the crate is stacked in the middle of a PACKOUT stack, so you do not have to unstack the system to feed wire, and wire retention slots on the front of the crate hold individual wire ends in place to keep them organized and prevent loose lines from snapping back inside.
The crate is built to jobsite standards and to work as part of the PACKOUT platform. Its impact-resistant polypropylene body carries heavy copper spools without cracking or warping, with a 75 lb weight capacity, and it measures approximately 19 in. by 15.88 in. by 15.69 in. It offers toolbox attachment-ready mounting and stacks or hangs with all PACKOUT components, locking into a rolling base, tool boxes, organizers, and the rest of the system so the payout station travels as one integrated, transportable stack. The setup is also flexible: the internal wire-pulling axle frame lifts completely out, converting the unit back into a standard open-top XL crate for bulk tools, fittings, and materials, so the crate does double duty when you are not pulling wire.
This wire pulling crate is purpose-built for commercial electricians, low-voltage installers, and residential service crews doing conduit rough-ins and branch circuit work who want organized, tangle-free wire dispensing that travels with their PACKOUT system. Because it ships with the wire pulling insert already in the crate, it is the grab-and-go option compared with buying the bare XL Crate and the inserts separately. It is backed by a Milwaukee Limited Lifetime Warranty. For a crew pulling multiple circuits at once, it turns a common source of tangled, wasted wire into a fast, controlled, contained pull.
