Speed Feed Self-Feeding Wood Bit — a large-bore self-feeding bit for fast, aggressive drilling through dimensional lumber, framing members, and wood in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in work where the 1 in. diameter provides clearance for 3/4 in. rigid conduit and larger wire bundle routing. Milwaukee Speed Feed bits feature a replaceable threaded feed screw tip that pulls the bit through wood under its own rotational force without requiring heavy manual drill pressure — eliminating the sustained heavy pushing force that standard auger bits demand from the operator over many holes per shift. The self-feeding action dramatically reduces drilling fatigue in production rough-in work where many holes at this large diameter are drilled per day throughout a project scope.
