Milwaukee Water Valve Body

The Milwaukee 45-80-0316 is a genuine OEM Water Valve Body for the MXF301 MX FUEL Handheld Core Drill. The MXF301 uses an integrated onboard water-feed system for wet coring: water enters through a quick connect, passes through the water valve, and is routed through the center of the spindle to the diamond core bit to clear slurry, cool the diamond segments, and suppress airborne silica dust. The operator opens and closes this water valve to turn the supply on and off and to meter the flow, adjusting so the return runs a muddy, solid color, since clear water or clear streaks indicate too much volume and shorten bit life. The valve body is the main housing of that valve: it carries the water under pressure and takes repeated open and close cycling, so a cracked, worn, or leaking body can drip, fail to shut off, or lose fine flow control. Fitting the genuine Milwaukee OEM valve body restores leak-free, properly sealing water control, where an off-spec part may not seal, thread, or meter correctly.
This water valve body is identified as the Water Valve Body, Figure 95, on the current revised Milwaukee service parts list for the MXF301 MX FUEL Handheld Core Drill, starting serial K28A, bulletin 54-16-9000R (March 2025 revision). Note that the earlier bulletin for this tool (54-00-0301) serviced the water feed only as the complete Water Hose/Valve Assembly; the revised diagram breaks the Water Valve Body out as a separate serviceable part at Figure 95, so order by the current part number. It works with the surrounding water-feed parts: the quick hose connector (42-90-0012, Fig 94), the water hose connector (42-86-0077, Fig 97), the hose clamp (42-68-1205, Fig 92), and the complete Water Hose Kit (45-80-0315, Fig 162), which are separate items. Because Milwaukee specifies service parts by serial number as well as catalog number, verify your catalog and serial number against the official Milwaukee service parts diagram before ordering, since running production changes can alter part compatibility within the same catalog number.
