Milwaukee Water Hose Assembly
Model Number: 45-80-0315
The Milwaukee 45-80-0315 is a genuine OEM Water Hose Assembly for the MXF301 MX FUEL Handheld Core Drill. The MXF301 uses an integrated onboard water-feed system for wet coring: water enters through a quick connect, passes through the water valve, and is routed through the center of the spindle to the diamond core bit to clear slurry, cool the diamond segments, and suppress airborne silica dust. This water hose assembly is the hose that carries the water along that path inside the tool, supplied with the two hose clamp rings that secure it at its connections. Because it runs water under pressure and flexes with use, a cracked, split, or leaking hose can drip, lose flow, or fail to deliver water to the bit, which shortens bit life and defeats the dust-suppression and cooling the wet-coring system provides. Fitting the genuine Milwaukee OEM water hose assembly restores a leak-free water path with the correct routing and fittings, where an off-spec hose may not seal or connect correctly.
This water hose assembly is identified as the Water Hose Kit, Figure 162, on the Milwaukee service parts list for the MXF301 MX FUEL Handheld Core Drill, starting serial K28A, on both the earlier bulletin (54-00-0301) and the current revised bulletin (54-16-9000R, March 2025). As a kit it includes the water hose and the two hose clamp rings that clamp it to its fittings. Note how the water feed is serviced: the earlier bulletin combined the hose and valve as one Water Hose/Valve Assembly, while the revised diagram separates them, pairing this water hose (45-80-0315) with a standalone Water Valve Body (45-80-0316, Figure 95), so order the hose, the valve body, or both depending on what has failed. It works with the surrounding water-feed parts, the quick hose connector (42-90-0012), the water hose connector (42-86-0077), and the o-ring (34-40-0166), which are separate items. Because Milwaukee specifies service parts by serial number as well as catalog number, verify your catalog and serial number against the official Milwaukee service parts diagram before ordering, since running production changes can alter part compatibility within the same catalog number.
