The Milwaukee 42-92-0018 is a genuine OEM Switch Cover for the 2736-20 M18 FUEL 8-1/4 in. Table Saw with ONE-KEY. The switch cover is the molded cover over the saw's on-off switch at the switch panel, protecting the switch from sawdust and accidental contact and giving the operator a large, easy target to shut the saw off quickly. It is spring-loaded, working with its switch cover spring so it returns to position after use. Because the cover is operated on every start and stop and sits in a dusty, high-traffic spot on the saw, it can crack, break, or stop returning, which makes the on-off switch harder to use or leaves it exposed. Replacing it with the genuine Milwaukee OEM switch cover restores a clean, correctly operating switch guard, where an off-spec cover may not fit the switch panel or return properly.
