The Milwaukee 42-42-0806 is a genuine OEM Switch Lock Button for the 0884-20 M18 Compact Blower. The switch lock button is the lock-out control the operator uses to keep the blower from being activated accidentally: pressed to its locked position, it blocks the switch so the blower will not start until the lock is released. It works with its switch lock spring, which returns and holds the button, so the lock-out engages and releases cleanly. Because the button is handled in use and sits in the blower's switch area, it can crack, wear, or stick over time, at which point the lock-out may not engage, hold, or release as intended.
