The Milwaukee 3055-20 is the M12 FUEL 1/2 in. Extended Reach Ratchet, a cordless ratchet built for mechanics, maintenance technicians, and service pros who need to reach deep, tight fasteners without giving up power. It pairs a slim, compact head with an extended neck so you can get past obstructions and into engine bays, suspension work, and equipment service points that a standard-length ratchet cannot. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 80 ft-lbs of maximum torque to break stubborn 1/2 in. fasteners loose, and a no-load speed of 300 RPM to run them off and on quickly, so the tool covers both the breakaway and the fast run-down of 1/2 in. drive work. A ball detent anvil holds standard 1/2 in. drive sockets securely during use.
The ratchet features a new modular trigger cap system that lets you switch between button and paddle trigger configurations for the control and comfort you prefer, along with a targeted LED work light for visibility in dim engine bays, a forward and reverse shuttle, and bi-directional motor firmware tuned for consistent breakaway torque in both directions. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence protects the tool from overload, overheating, and over-discharge for durability and run time, and when the motor is not engaged the ratchet can be worked by hand like a manual ratchet to finish or snug a fastener. As part of the Milwaukee M12 system, it runs on any M12 REDLITHIUM battery and shares the platform with 150-plus tools.
The 3055-20 is sold as a bare tool, so the battery and charger are purchased separately for users already on the M12 platform.
