The Milwaukee 28-41-0000 is a genuine OEM Lower Guard Lever for the 3026-20 M18 FUEL 10-1/4 in. Circular Saw. The lower guard lever is the manual lever the operator uses to retract the spring-loaded lower blade guard, for example to start a cut on an edge or to make a plunge or pocket cut where the guard needs to be raised by hand. It attaches to the lower guard and gives a secure grip for pulling the guard back, then lets it spring closed to cover the blade when released. Because it is handled on every manual retraction and takes grip and spring load, a cracked, worn, or broken lever makes the lower guard hard or unsafe to operate.
