The clamp is compatible with both square and round rail profiles, which matters because different scissor lift manufacturers use different rail geometries and the operator cannot count on having a specific rail type on every jobsite lift. The clamp installs and removes in seconds without tools, so the fan moves with the operator between lifts and between platform positions throughout the workday. The integrated tether point on the fan body works with the included Milwaukee 48-22-8810 10 lb Locking Tool Lanyard to retain the fan against a dropped-object incident, which is a critical safety requirement on most commercial jobsites with OSHA-compliant working-at-heights policies and dropped-object prevention programs.
