Milwaukee Pivot Pin
Model Number: 06-65-0135
The Milwaukee 06-65-0135 is a genuine OEM Pivot Pin used in the front bushing and orbital drive mechanism of Milwaukee reciprocating saws. Two of these pins are used per tool, one on each side of the front bushing assembly, where they serve as the pivot points that let the front end move for the saw's orbital cutting action. As pivot points in a reciprocating mechanism they are constantly loaded in use, and Milwaukee's instructions call for lightly coating the pins with grease where they enter the holes of the front bushing assembly during reassembly. A worn, scored, or seized pivot pin degrades the orbital action and accelerates wear on the bushing it rides in, so replacing the pins restores smooth, correct movement. Using the genuine Milwaukee OEM pins ensures the correct pin diameter, length, and hardness for the pivot, where an off-spec pin can be loose, bind, or wear quickly.
This pivot pin is a common part across Milwaukee's reciprocating saw family. It is identified as the Pivot Pin, Figure A-27, on the 2720-20 M18 FUEL Sawzall reciprocating saw; as the Pivot Pin, Figure 23, on the 2621 Hackzall, where it is used on both sides of the front bushing assembly (44-86-0052); and at Figure 8 on the 6519 Sawzall, among others. Milwaukee's application list for a shared pin like this is not intended to be complete, so confirm the figure position for your specific tool. Because the tool uses two, order both pins and replace them as a pair when servicing the front end. Because Milwaukee specifies service parts by serial number as well as catalog number, verify your catalog and serial number against the official Milwaukee service parts diagram before ordering, since running production changes can alter part compatibility within the same catalog number.
