The Stiletto TIB-MR is a Milled Steel Replacement D-Face for the Stiletto TIBONE Hammer, compatible with the TIB15MC, TIB15SC, TIB14RMC, and TIB14RSC models. The TIBONE's interchangeable face system allows the steel striking face to be replaced when worn or when switching between face types — without replacing the entire titanium hammer head. The TIB-MR milled steel D-face is the choice for framing and rough carpentry applications where the milled pattern's aggressive nail-head grip is needed. The milled face bites into nail heads on contact, reducing glancing blows and nail deflection during high-speed production framing and helping drive nails straighter and more efficiently than a smooth face in demanding framing conditions.
The TIB-MR features an anti-rotational design that positively locks the face to the titanium head and prevents it from spinning or shifting during high-impact driving — maintaining consistent face alignment and accurate strike placement throughout the face's service life. A serrated T45 bolt is included to secure the replacement face to the TIBONE head. Steel replacement faces are consumable wear items — the milled pattern will eventually wear smooth with extended use and require replacement to maintain full nail-gripping performance.
