The Milwaukee 49-94-6305 is a 6 in. x .045 in. x 7/8 in. Type 27 Cut-Off Wheel for use with 6 in. angle grinders — a thin aluminum oxide abrasive cutting wheel for fast, precise cut-off operations on steel, stainless steel, and ferrous metal in the intermediate grinder format between the compact 4-1/2 in. and the large 7 in. and 9 in. platforms. The 6 in. diameter provides more cutting depth per pass and more surface coverage than 4-1/2 in. cut-off wheels while remaining more compact and lighter than 7 in. and 9 in. large grinder configurations — making the 6 in. the practical choice for conduit, pipe, and structural steel cutting applications where the 4-1/2 in. depth of cut is marginally insufficient and the operator prefers the 6 in. grinder's balance between depth capacity and tool maneuverability.
