The Milwaukee 49-90-0025 is a genuine Dust Extraction Kit designed exclusively for use with the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Compact Router Plunge Base (48-10-5601). The dust extraction kit attaches to the plunge base and captures wood chips, sawdust, and fine particles directly at the cutting zone during routing operations — keeping the cut line visible, reducing airborne debris, and minimizing cleanup time. This is especially valuable during dado, groove, and decorative edge routing where chip accumulation at the bit can obscure layout lines and reduce cut accuracy.
Constructed from durable polymer, the kit provides a secure fit on the 48-10-5601 plunge base and is designed for long-term jobsite and shop use. Note that this dust extraction kit is only compatible with the 48-10-5601 Plunge Base — it is not compatible with the standard fixed base on the 2723-20 M18 FUEL Compact Router.
