The Milwaukee 49-62-0115 is a genuine OEM 18 in. Blade Sheath for the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18 in. Hedge Trimmer (3001-20). The blade sheath slides over the full length of the 3001-20's hardened steel blades, protecting them from damage during storage and transport while also protecting users from accidental contact with the exposed cutting edges. The 3001-20 features blades capable of cutting branches up to 3/4 in. thick — keeping those edges covered when the tool is not in use extends blade life and prevents nicks and damage from contact with other tools and equipment in the truck, trailer, or storage area. A cracked, broken, or missing sheath leaves the blades unprotected and creates an unnecessary safety hazard during handling.
