The Milwaukee 49-16-2648 is a Right Angle Grease Coupler for use with Milwaukee M18 and M12 Cordless Grease Guns — a 90° angled grease hose end fitting that enables lubrication of zerk fittings in confined, angled, and hard-to-access locations where a standard straight coupler cannot be physically positioned to engage the fitting due to surrounding structure, adjacent components, or tight clearance. In heavy equipment, vehicle, and machinery maintenance work, many zerk fittings are located in positions where the grease gun hose and straight coupler cannot approach the fitting from a direct perpendicular angle — chassis members block direct access, adjacent components obstruct the straight coupler's approach path, or the fitting is positioned against a flat surface with insufficient clearance for a straight coupler to snap onto the fitting body. The right angle design approaches these fittings from a 90° offset angle, navigating around the obstructions that prevent straight coupler access.
