The Milwaukee 48-52-5020 is a 4 in. Full Cable Twist Knot Wire Wheel in stainless steel for use with angle grinders — the premium stainless steel wire wheel for the most aggressive cleaning, scale removal, and surface preparation on stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and any application where freedom from ferrous contamination is mandatory. Full cable twist knot construction twists multiple individual wire strands together into a tight, dense cable knot configuration before mounting on the wheel hub — the cable knot structure is more rigid and concentrated than standard single-wire knot designs, delivering maximum impact force per contact point for cutting through the heaviest mill scale deposits, weld spatter buildup, and surface contamination that lighter wire wheel configurations cannot remove efficiently. The full cable twist construction also maintains its aggressive cleaning action more consistently through the wheel's service life as the knotted cable structure's self-sharpening characteristic exposes fresh wire surface as outer wire wears.
