The 240 ft. length covers the extended straight conduit runs, multi-section horizontal pulls, and the large commercial building conduit systems where the 100 ft. tape runs out before reaching the pull destination — requiring either tape extension or a fish line pre-pull that adds time and complexity to the wire fishing operation. Electrical contractors running wire in large commercial office floors, industrial facilities, and multi-story commercial buildings regularly encounter pull lengths that exceed 100 ft. and need the 240 ft. tape to complete the pull in a single fish tape operation.
