The Milwaukee 48-22-4176 is a 120 ft. 1/8 in. Steel Fish Tape — an extended-length fish tape bridging the gap between the standard 100 ft. and the maximum 240 ft. lengths for commercial conduit wire fishing in mid-size buildings and extended single-floor pulls where 100 ft. runs short and 240 ft. is more tape than the application needs. The 120 ft. length covers long commercial corridor conduit runs, full-span pulls on larger residential floors, and the commercial building configurations where a single straight run or a run with one or two bends slightly exceeds the standard 100 ft. tape's reach. Having the additional 20 ft. margin over the 100 ft. tape eliminates the frustrating situation where the pull destination is just beyond the shorter tape's reach — requiring either a second fish attempt or a pull line intermediate step that a 120 ft. tape would have covered in a single fish.
The 1/8 in. narrow tape width provides reduced profile for easier navigation through conduit with multiple bends, lower friction per unit tape length compared to the 1/4 in. wide tape, and less cumulative resistance through the bends of the full 120 ft. run. Milwaukee's low-friction coating and the polyester-case reel provide smooth feed-out and controlled retrieval at this extended length.
