Speed Feed Self-Feeding Wood Bit — a large-bore self-feeding bit for fast, aggressive drilling through dimensional lumber, framing members, and wood in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in work where the 7/8 in. diameter provides clearance for 3/4 in. flexible conduit systems, large wire bundle routing, and specific plumbing rough-in applications at this bore size. Milwaukee Speed Feed bits feature a replaceable threaded feed screw tip that pulls the bit through wood under its own rotational force, eliminating the sustained heavy manual drill pressure that standard auger bits demand — reducing drilling fatigue across the many large-bore holes of production rough-in work.
